I'm feeling relaxed and optimistic about the new season. The only cautionary note would be that the competition for European places will be hotter than ever - several other clubs also have good reasons to be optimistic, and most of them will have done more business in the transfer market than us.

Might not be a bad thing the others doing more business mate. We have a quality side just need everyone here and fit.. I still reckon we'll add 1 or 2 more.....

We don't need to be active in the transfer market, have good enough squad to compete for a CL place, just need to make sure that there is no distraction.
I know we are all worried about Arteta and Pienaar, but at the moment I would say situation is under control - even if their are some talks/negotiatons ongoing, it looks like they are done in a manner which shouldn't hurt us.
And I trust Moyes enough to believe that he has replacements ready, although it would be very difficult to replace Arteta properly on such a short notice - I have no doubt that player like Defour could replace him nicely down the road, but replacing Arteta from Day 1 is a huge, huge task.
