Has your interest in womans football increased in the past couple of years ?

I've noticed Granada Reports are really pushing the women's football agenda, too. Honestly don't know one person who cares about it.

Fair enough to the women playing it, though. They're earning a living doing something they love.

Interesting shout here. Not many 6'6" women around to become goalkeepers, but they still have to defend the same size net. They'll probably always be less successful than the men.

Indeed, my grandson is a goalkeeper, he plays in a league which makes him play on a full size pitch with full size goals. There is two feet above him which he can never defend. Maybe pitches which are the appropriate size are the way forward.

I suspect relatively more Americans are into women's soccer, given the success of our US Women's national team. The professional league here in the US is doing okay as well. Seems to attract the family crowd. I'm highly supportive of the women's game, so you can count me as a fan. But I pretty much only watch the National team...I don't follow any of the pro teams.

It's of a poor standard because from grass roots up it's not taken a seriously in terms of funding as men's football.

The only women footballer i could point out is Hope Solo, and that's not for her football ability.

Never heard of her. Jill Scott was high profile for a while, then there's Steph Houghton and Toni Duggan who are moderately recognizable.

To be fair to them, that was some of the most comical football footage I have ever seen. Every goal was a joke. Surely the last goal was miles offside too?
