Has the transfer window cost us?

Getting more tired of these utter crap performances week in week out, the transfer window we hardly strengthened while Spurs and Liverpool did. I'm beginning to think it has cost us Europe. Hope I'm wrong.

The window was an utter joke. Anyone in any doubt why those clowns in the boardroom have to go they have no room for it anymore.

They stabbed the team in the back.

The window was massive. A lot don't think it was but that 4th spot was wide open that needed to be taken advantage of. We looked below par coming up to January and needed a boost.

Didn't get it.

The transfer window was a triumph of prudent financial management by the board.

Did you want us to buy a seriously injured cripple for £8M and end up like Portsmouth ?

Yes I think we knew we would struggle with the rest of the season when we didn't strengthen in January, but looking at it logically, if the players weren't there, what did you want Moyes to do? Buy any old sh*t and hope for the best?

Yeah, there weren't any more decent players out there....

Thats the issue, you're acting like because wecouldn't sign 1 or 2 players we know we tried for that they are they only players in the whole of world football that we could have signed who would have improved the squad.

I don't believe there weren't players available that we couldn't have bought and certainly don't believe there was no one we could have got in on a loan just to beef the squad up a bit in the run in.

Plus its not like we are mid table and nothing really to play for, right now it was more important than prettyy much all previous windows that we gpt someone in. But we didn't.

Woah, hang on, you can't be sensible about things.
Spot on though.
