People need to calm down.

He's trying to teach a team that has played hoofball and not to lose for the 11 years of course it's going to take a bit of time to perfect... But last night I see glimpses of nice football with nice quick breaks... If Vic hadn't
made a balls of that chance.. People would be singing a different tune today.

Nah mate just let the real competitive football start before before going crazy. You sound like your on your monthly jammy.

Bit harsh neg reppin this comment (like it makes a **** of difference). My "monthly jammy" comment was only a reaction to your OTT hypothetical rant. Some people need a humour transplant.

I'd also like to point out that prior to this season we'd tended to play utter gash football for the first half of the season under Moyes anyway, so i'd give Martinez until at least Christmas. If the guy who had been in the job for 6 years still couldn't get us playing good football from the start of the season it seems a bit harsh to expect Roberto to do so, doesn't it ?

No it's not harsh at all to expect us to be ready for the start of the season.

So because it's been that way for one boss, it should be that way for all of them?

Spot on that. He's got a Herculean task coaching these players to have confidence in their own ability to keep the ball.

Yeah

And what about that bloody badge? and the kit that makes us look like an animation team from a foreign hotel!

pfftttr

Bring back the ginger 1!

So Martinez has tried to implement some new tactics and it all looks fairly terrible at the moment, players don't look comfortable with the positions they're being asked to play and we look poor defensively. The signings he's made haven't been great in my opinion and he generally looks a bit lost on the touchline.

How long into the season do we give him if it's not working? We haven't kept a clean sheet this pre-season and alarm bells are ringing already for me.

I really expected Everton to keep out Real Madrid, Juventus and Valencia and to have not conceded a single goal between them.

I for one am literally blobbing me kex about this coming season.

Best attacking team in Europe first few months of last season. With same players Martinez has. Christmas my anus. Hes got 4 weeks max.

Don't be stupid mate. People trying to make a serious point and you have to be facetious.
