Has Fellaini really got a £22m buyout clause in his contract ?

I don't think there's that much of a clique problem. Certainly doesn't affect this, like.

The clique problem is insidious and everywhere. Once one of them wades in they all have to, usually in the form of 'humourous' bluekipper-style nonsequieters and so on.

Artetafan is right... I only comment when he's brought up. The only difference is what I'm saying is pretty standalone... if every single time Fellaini was mentioned I commented something positive it wouldn't be picked up on, surely? Or if every single time Naimith was brought up, I commented something negative - same thing.
I'm just criticising a player I feel is over-rated. I knew as soon as I started making my feelings known people would be pissed off, but I'm not gonna just stay silent because I'm pissing people off. What's the point of really believing anything if you're not willing to say it? I would be alot quieter if Fellaini wasn't so unbearable. I hate his big-time charlie attitude and the media reputation that has developed. I was always willing to give Bily a chance because he never claimed he was better than the club and should be playing champions league football. I certainly don't like the hero status he has developed despite never looking more than half arsed about the club.

Now if you'd said all that that a while ago, it'd all seem more sensible, whether I agree or not. What people don't get it the constantly calling him sh*te etc. Sure, you may think he's over-rated, fine, but sh*t? Come on. Apologies anyway.

I know what you mean about the remarks, but I think you're reading a bit too much into it. It gives the place character that other places don't have, imo.

It makes sense to me that he would have a buy out clause. I could not see him committing to 5 years with us without one. He has stated he wants to play champions league. If we finish 4th I would think he would stay. If not he will go.

I don't believe for one minute that Fellaini has such a clause in his contract . It's just days ago Fellaini said he would stay with Everton as long as we wished him to stay for , and when is the last time Everton have had to sell a player because of a buy out clause ? We simply don't do these kind of contracts with our players . So this story is just pure speculation and free fantasy from a know nothing lazy journalist .

Just on SSN...'Chelsea will bid below Fellainis buy out £22 million to take advantage of Evertons financial situation'...........
I predict meltdown on here if this is true, but doub it is.

We dont need to sell. And if we did, we'd want maximum to cover our "financial situation".

Its bollocks anyway. The club treads water and is getting a boost of tv money next year. We just cant buy players.

Its silly. We are about to pocket an extra 20m+ a season from the new TV deal. There may well be a clause but the idea someone would bother bidding below it is nonsensical.
