Harry Melt Face Redknapp

Don’t they have that Russian bloke who ripped us a new one under bobby brown shoes over in Moscow. You know what’s next, Everton that.

On talkSPORT Mr Redknapp offered his thoughts to Mr Brazil regarding West Ham's upcoming trip to Everton. Even though they have lost their first four games he believes they have a good chance against us. I have quoted him below.

“They need to pick up some results quickly, and I think they’ve got a chance at Everton.

“I saw Everton the other week at Bournemouth and I couldn’t say I was that impressed, and they were poor last week at home to Huddersfield, where they were fortunate to get a draw."

I was a bit surprised myself at these comments. I think we are better than he suggests, especially if one or two of the injured or new players play for us.

Does anyone here agree with Harry's analysis or is he underestimating our abilities?

He obviously telling them...talkshight, London biased, sky 6 darling's media junkies etc. what they want to hear.

What he isn't doing is making up the fact that we let a 2 goal lead slip at Bournemouth and couldn't beat a relegation candidate at home.

We all know that if a team or player needs a win or a goal to break a poor run, then, as the song goes...Who ya gonna call?
Yes, Us, the Walton Wanderers, the County Rd Casuals...or defending corners - very casual.

Next week I will be looking at the odds for all things West Ham, for there will be no 4 goal pastings, hat tricks and halfway line worldies. Their manager will be making them watch replays of that until the are sick of it.

A treble of Nolan to score the first goal and get sent off for 2 yellows, with Everton eventually to win looks good.
Its up to Silva to wind us up to match their intensity

We seem to have been struggling without Richarlison to create much, we are conceding too easily and it’s still early days for Silva to get the team playing how he wants.

Bournemouth was a weird game, they started well, we took over then that penalty lost all our confidence.

I still don’t think our football has been that great, but with Bernard, Silva and Mina coming in will make a huge improvement, especially with Bernard to break down the teams that sit back.

Haven’t watched West Ham at all so no idea, but we’ll probably draw again and give them their first point of the season!

We aren't living up to expectations, yet somehow remain undefeated; West Ham are pointless, and are pretty much living up to their expectations. I think we are going to step up and demolish them.

He’s not wrong. We were poor at Bournemouth and Huddersfield and Everton are exactly the sort of team that will end an opponents losing run for them. Silva needs time and multiple windows to get rid of the ‘Everton that’ factor around the club.

The Watford fans speak of a 'Silva that' phenomenon. Watford's visit to Goodison last season is supposed to be a good example of it, where they snatched defeat from the jaws of victory.

he's not wrong is he? they've lost all their games so far they've got to good of a team not to start picking up points, of course it itll be against us

genuinely think we'll get beat, no richarlison, injurys everywhere, cannot defend, striker who isn't scoring at the moment

I don't take much notice of Harry, or indeed any of these pundits, I'd rather listen to some fans on here when it comes to Everton and how they are playing: but to be honest Inthink the fans having a go at Harry's looks are out of order, they resulted from a very serious car accident years ago in which Harry was lucky to have escaped with his life.
