I wanted us to sign him from Hull in 2017 instead of Keane, and for half the price. 2 Years later he signed for United for £80m, and his career took a nose dive.

I think both of them could do with a change of clubs for their careers sakes, but their values have flipped, and he would have to take a considerable paycut to come here.

Hypothetically, it would probably do him good, but even if he was willing, i wouldn't want it to be at the expense of Branthwaite. So I'd sooner go for someone younger, cheaper, and with something to strive for rather than redeem.
