I've just heard that Harry Carpenter passed away on Saturday morning.

He was, and always will be for me, the voice of boxing. He commentated on some of the greatest boxing matches ever. Almost in tears here.

Sportsnight was great. Dog racing, five-a-side tournaments, the ABA finals and interviews with James Hunt and Jackie Stewart.

Kids today are missing all that.
