2025/26 Harrison Armstrong

I actually think Rohl will turn out to be a good buy after he gets a few more games and gets up to speed. But Armstrong looks very comfortable out there already, even if it was just a cameo. Was easy to see who is more composed of the two. I don’t trust Moyes to trust him though. Not his style.
One thing I've noticed with Armstrong at Preston is that there's an expectation for the players at Preston to adhere to the system in place. So at times Armstrong who has been excellent there will kind of disappear but not from a lack of performing but because he's keeping to his role and waiting for his opportunity to contribute, I think Moyes will respect and reward that type of discipline.

Good insight. I just don’t think Moyes will give a real chance to an 18 year old at the moment unless his hand is well and truly forced.

That’s another of his strengths, he goes out and adapts his game to how a manager wants him to play, no fuss just does it and is able to change again at half time or 70 mins if results are not going their way. I watched his two games against Wrexham, first game he comes on at about 70 mins, 0-1 down, asked to play further forward , scores the equaliser. Second game he was asked to play deeper from the start , wider right , then asked to change again at half time as they were 1-0 down. In that second game you’d score him as average , just doing what his manager expected of him. It’s been a great learning experience for him at Preston.
