Still think we should leave him there for the sake of his development myself.

I know we are down to the bare bones but doubt he comes on yesterday if he was on the bench, so doubt he'd get any minutes in for us in Jan anyway.

What if, and I know this is unrealistic, someone gets injured?

I'm guessing it's just to get us through January and until Gana and KDH are back. I imagine he'll head back to Preston on Jan 31st.

Needed to have as an option till let players come back or are fit again - Garner is the worry as no contract signed as yet ?
It would leave a massive gap in our midfield in the future....
