2025/26 Harrison Armstrong

Its the simple little things that makes him stand out, some people will notice it, others will think the games passing him by..
Yes I read the Preston forum 70% rave about him 30% say things like he’s not ready for the level, shouldn’t be in the team, they’ve not been impressed and the classic, Everton have obviously done a deal so he gets picked every week.

My brother watched him for 30 minutes v Birmingham the last game & he was ok playing in a very poor Preston team .....

It’s one of them, when Preston fans hear about this talented kid and a bit like some of our fans with Dibling. Expecting them to rip it up every week. I saw him play a number of forward passes in tbe 2nd half that were a first touch passes forward to feet. Unfortunately Preston do
Seem a bit long ball and at every opportunity cross the ball in the box. Especially from small who’s brain dead.
Last 20 with Devine on the pitch they linked quite well, but small would never try and return the pass when at times Armstrong and others had ran past him towards the box

Also Birmingham had big CB’s that headed everything away and a lot of small’s crosses wound also be over hit out of play

I did not want him to be loaned out, but I feel Wrexham who were interested in him would have been a better side for him to gain anything on a loan IMO ....

This lad can slide a through ball through - name a midfielder in our present side ? - Phill Foden carved us open twice = 2 goals - we have no playmaker ATM ..... Stop Nydaye or Grealish = stops us .....
This is the same lad who played 1 through ball in 24 championship matches last season and 0 so far this season?

Edit: I'm being snarky but we do desperately need a passer in midfield. Harrison currently is absolutely not it though.

Everything is based on fast paced wing play..

We cant really complain cos thats Heckinbottom's style of play and why should he change that for one individual that is only on loan.

I'm sure the club will be looking at how things are going and if a decision needs to be made.

But you can see with us, he wouldn't be getting the gametime now.
