Hamburger SV

Superb . Really enjoyed that . Had a butchers online for any info on Rudiger . What a fascinating life he had .
His beef with Axel Springer was an interesting read too . Bravo and thanks . What a rabbit hole .
Yeah, that's the guy.

This was the Messerschmitt Bf 110 that he flew:
Ch6 126.webp

And on 18th August 1940 he made a creditable landing with a wounded rear gunner on board:
Ch6 124.webp

The chevron denoted he was Adjutant of his Gruppe, and the pencil was a sarcastic reference to the amount of paperwork he had to get through as Adjutant, as well as his flying duties. He was shot down by Sgt. Claude Parsons of 610 Squadron and came down at Dering Farm near Lydd.

Not my favourite place; but the more I've been to Germany i think I've just came to realise; rural is stunning, Cities are a bit of an eye opener re Homelessness.

Avoid the Reeperbahn area and you'll be grand.

Have a good one; but shan't be attending here, might do stuttgart

Rotten place that reeperbahn, was their last summer, we stayed on their andd the smell in the monrong/afternoon.
Some of the side streets pubs open for locals on the Sunday morning.. wow

although if you head into the city and local areas theirs good places to eat/drink. The port area has "beach bars" which were good

Fingers crossed for a second game to go to instead
