Agreed. Lennon, Sigurdsson, Besic all given game time tonight. It wasn't a great performance, but Koeman has used the game differently to how most of us saw it, which is to give it Brazil '70 for ninety minutes.

Great result. Very good start to the season. Well managed game and now we have a week to sort out any off the field stuff/transfers before we are playing in 4 competitions.

Still lots of improvement to be made but what about pickford? Outstanding.

I just think we need that striker, would of taken a lot of pressure off our deeper players. We done well under a lot of pressure. Williams was mainly a liability but there were mainly positives .

We know we need a striker mate but I agree with this. Looked a little unsure at the back against these types of players lol but we looked good also more individually
