I was a National Insurance Claims Manager an' have got Solicitor friends , but I honestly cant see a downside , by replying

When I replied, she said she was in South Africa and could advance a cheque and then asked for my details.
I googled her company, it didnt exist. I then went on a scammers website and she was all over it!

Like you say, email a reply, but see what happens next, they will want personal info.
Ask them if they can hear the sirens once you have reported them!
