Ricky you waterborne animal bothering danger, Sigurdsson is not better than Sanchez or Ozil or any of the others on your little dweeb list.

He's been seriously average for us and utterly stank like the inside of your socks for Spurs.

If someone gave you the option to pick one of the five listed above not a single person other than the little victim above @SiggyTheBlue who goes by Ricky now, would pick sigurdson

He's gone off the deep end on the Everton subreddit about an Everton sticker on a kopite's cake. Comical reading this morning.

Yes it is him.

Yeah that goal at the pit was crap or something.

lol

As if he couldn't have scored when he was playing inside left/right. You do realise that attackers don't have to rigidly stand in their position throughout the game and can move around interchanging?

Our fans obsession with playing Sigurdsson in this number 10 role is bizarre.

Whys it bizarre if its probably his best position?

Gylfi needs to play centrally and we need left sided defensive players on the left.
I think that might be a positive move by our manager.
However we are currently trying to buy a right footed forward.

“Let them eat cake if they have no bread”

We need a revolution

Doesn't lose the ball, always find a player in blue, his control and hold up play is decent and has absolutely no movement up top to aim for.

His set pieces are mostly decent as well, but no one has the bottle to attack them.

I think people expected, purely because of the ludicrous price tag, Gylfi to be a player he never has been and never will be. He isn't a player who can control a game with his passing.

He's a hard-working player who will give his all and has that extra bit of quality in the final third that players like Barkley lack.

He isn't quick but if you play him in a position where he can run onto things (i.e. the derby last week) and join in late on at the edge of the area he'll either create a chance or get a shot off.

His set-piece delivery is excellent, 9 times out of 10. Unfortunately we've got a team of midgets and 50p-head Keane.

The funny thing is he has actually been played in the middle a few times, and he did nothing.

'A few times' being key here, he is in a new team that are playing terribly. IMO if you play him as our number 1 AM with positive players ahead of him, we will get the most out of him. He will have more space due to the movement ahead and will be able to influence the game more than what he is now. He is obviously a high quality player, look at the goals he scores and what he offers for Iceland and what he did last season at Swansea. He is practically playing as a LH DM at the minute with arguably our worst player behind him.
