I can see it already.....we'l sell for like £15m to a Watford or Newcastle next season and he'l score 10 goals and bag 12 assists and we'l all say why didn't he do it for us last season.

I still have faith he'll come good, (ok I'm one of the 5% of fans who gets behind there players on here and still holds hope after a bad few months). We've now got Carlo ancelotti In charge therefore he will get the best out of players unlike Marco who had literally drained the life out of them all. Give all the lads time under Carlo and then we can all see if they have a future

A star signing should drag an under-performing team up which unfortunately he doesn't have the ability to do. However, he'll definitely score goals in a team that's playing well and is unarguably a good option to have from the bench. I genuinely believe most teams outside the top four/six would love to have them as an option in their squad.

If we forget the fee we paid for him and think about him as a good squad player there's value in keeping him. There are worse* players in this squad we need to ship before him

*God awful, waste of space

Sorry but I don't see him being a regular under Carlo (once Gomes/Gbamin are fit and he spends in the summer) - could he make a squad player? I think that's a possibility if he steps up as this season he has been well below standard.

i think a squad player has to make an impact either in rare starts or from the bench.

Personally, I just don’t see howif were losing 1-0, he could have a positive impact on chasing the equaliser or winner.

Walcott, for example, I could see, cause he has a bit of pace, but not Sigurdsson.

If he can start scoring goals. That's the positive impact he can have. In a team doing well he'll score goals.
