Rumours of Everton being set to sell Sigurdsson? Who would:

a) pay him a wage comparable to what he earns now, and
b) pay a fee for him.

Its one thing wanting to sell, but another actually doing it.

Anyone know when his contract expires? Could be stuck with him until then due to wages so loan move only viable option.

Harsh reality is we a stuck with him

It'll be a miracle to get £20m and him off the wage book before his contact us up

He's only good on the edge of the box and the system we are playing doesn't suit that because he's a slow cart horse

That and the fact he's currently world #1 in official hide and seek rankings

"They" never gave him any credit, "They" act like scoring a goal is nothing.

Look hes very bad now, but I just think its a myth that he was always bad.

I think the problem for Gylfi is he needs a functioning and dynamic midfield behind him to be most effective. Or more dynamic and functioning than what we have this season. Chuck in some poor form (it happens) and he's having a shocker. The price tag makes him a lightening rod for criticism.

The lad, as do many at the club have it very, very comfortable. I doubt he would be bothered if he spent most of the rest of his career sitting on the bench here. He’s got nothing to be concerned about. Doesn’t need to worry about making the Iceland team as he’s probably the only good player in their squad so will always be selected for them. He’ll be very comfortable sitting out most games earning his thousands for his retirement and getting the odd game when called upon and putting in half arsed performances. Regardless of wether or not he is for sale, this lad will be in no hurry to leave what so ever. Lessons need to be learned from this signing.

And what could we learn ? It is impossible to build a team today with low earners and our fans .They wouldn't be able to get enough quality players and the young ones would be crucified ,look at Keen he is getting it already .
