In an ideal world he uses this to up his game... He annoys me greatly at times but I certainly wont object to him being a player we can bring off the bench.

Kean up top, Richarlison/Walcott/Gordon, Davies with Benni and the back 5.

If Silva goes back to the Sigurdson/Schneiderlin axis we are well and truly buggered, and will be in the relegation zone come the turn of the year.

I will gladly be vaulted if wrong.

I feel sorry for him because there is no doubt that he certainly is trying hard when he comes on but the game is just too fast for him.

I would like to see him given a try further back in the Gomes position, it is a position that might suit him.

A lot is about positioning when you play deeper. He is big, strong and quite physical I would be interested to see him getting a try there, it should also bring Baningme into the equation.

Quite physical? Are we talking about the same player here? He’s a big fanny. He can’t tackle. Constantly gets wrong side & dangles a toe in.

We’re clearly a better team with him not in it. His only position is 10 & we’ve got at least 2 better 10s in the squad.
