Ancelotti made Lampard. He just might kinda make Gylfi useful. Played some wonderful passes today and is actually getting involved in the buildup which is pleasant for my eyes. Will need a more dominant pairing though or he will become a liability.

Played well today, as he did last game. Makes me dislike him more. Why put the effort in and turn up because there is a new boss in town? Where was this effort, particularly this season, before?

He was brilliant in the first half hour there. Lost like the rest of midfield the 15 that followed. Stronger second half especially when doeph bolstered mid field

New manager bounce - they all step up a few percentage points before settling down again. Need real competition for places to keep players "at it" and I expect a man of Carlo's experience to address the point by jan 7th at the latest

I think he had something along the lines of 22 goals 15 assists in 2009 under Ancelotti. He definitely knows how to make the best out of a physically limited player. Sigurdsson hasn’t looked as out of place as he did under Silva
