Against a poor performing and young Arsenal side, Sigurdsson failed woefully to take the game by the scruff of the neck and run it.
As he's failed woefully too many times before.
He's an extremely expensive folly of Koeman and unless he ups his game by some considerable amount in what remains of this season, surely he'll be heading for the exit door next summer.
Right now, he's a luxury we can ill afford

Absolute myth of a player. And that free kick in the 1st half was shocking. Mason Holgate has shown him up in 3 games, how not only to play midfield, but also how to play an unfamiliar position and give it a good go.

Any of his fans like to tell me what his position is? Now we've discovered he can't play wide left, wide ride, up top, behind the striker, number 10, part of a front 3 or a front 2, part of midfield 3, midfield 4 or a midfield 5, as a DM, or as a deep lying play maker?

Maybe we should try him in goal. His ability to somehow always be 20 feet away from the ball might mean we never concede a goal.

In a bad rut of form. Never wants the ball which is reflected in his positioning. Seems to constantly place himself in no space so he doesn’t get the pass.

He’s a passenger. Literally we could pay anybody to do the job he does. He has ZERO outstanding qualities even his set pieces are rubbish. If you wanna pay someone to run the length of the pitch back and fourth all day and make safe sideway or backward passes for £50k+ per week I will happily do it.
