He never shows for the ball; he stands behind the opposition defender and runs from the ball giving no option for us other than to go wide and send in crosses.
When he gets the ball he never plays anyone in behind; its like he is only interested in pushing out to the full backs so that he can potentially be on the end of a cutback in the box.
Today though he not only did the above but also had a poor first touch, no shooting ability, and even his short easy passes were being intercepted.
Must be dropped. Give him the holiday off. Shocking. He genuinely was one of our better footballer last season. Looks like another case of Newly-Wed-Syndrome.
