Can’t be any worse than snides .. play him there and Iwobi as 10. everyone can see this is the way to go . Need to find some sort of settled team and rhythm.

Bit lost at the praise...had several chances to play players in and passed out of play or to the opposition.

Great shot straight at the keeper...
He played well mate. And obviously realises to get a look in, needs to be effective in a deeper role.

He has been shambles as a second striker this year. And if he can consistently perform as he did at Southampton, he will get a run. And against lesser teams at home, perhaps even in a 3 with Davies and Iwobi.

Credit where credit is due.

I don't get why people keep saying this. Schneiderlin is an average at best player, but he is an experienced player who knows pretty well what he is supposed to do as a deep midfielder. Gylfi is less athletic, less experienced, and not even necessarily a more effective passer as he doesn't get on the ball enough already when playing #10.

The best place for him is the bench where he can come on occasionally to change things up. His time starting should be over.

You're being serious?

Too be fair Zat, all he has to do is play one good ball in a game, and nothing more, and that is enough for some to warrant that he's had a good game.
The one down the line to Walcott; that's all they remember unfortunately...the rest of the game passed him by, made poor tackles, set pieces were average (Digne ended up taking most of the corners); but that one ball down the line...:coffee:

That’s all they remember? Set pieces average? He put in a sick ball early on that bounced toward Davies and I might be wrong but didn’t he take the corner that set up to goal

Did you see the ball that Iwobi sent to Sidibe that set up the cross for the second ball.

Did you see that ball that he threaded into the penalty area; can't remember who it was picking out but that was "sick"...
