There`s always some mug team, like West Ham who`d have him.
In January, if someone offered what we`d paid for him, I`d bite their hands off.
I think that ship sailed with fat arse’s disappearance into international football.

We wouldn't get any more than 25m for him and would Leicester be willing to pay that after getting Maddison for the same position?
imo we won't sell him in Jan and wouldn't get anywhere near as much as we would want if we were to sell him
West Ham will be crying out for a saviour in January and they seem to like wasting money more than us.
To the chaps advocating selling him. Who would you play in his place?
Who would the midfield 3 be?
If you’re going to get rid of a someone you have to replace them with better.
We wouldn’t lose anything by replacing him with Bernard as a number 10, in fact we’d be a much more dangerous counter attacking team. Failing that, if Silva wanted to go for a flat 4-3-3, we wouldn’t lose anything by replacing him with André Gomes with two runners either side of him. Can you honestly tell me what attributes he offers that these players couldn’t?
He’s played in the premiership and I’ve actually seen him play. I can’t comment on the other two, hope they are great tho.
What we’d lose it a very consistent performer who gets goals, assists and works hard.
What we’d gain by replacing him with either of those players is an unknown. But I respect you for sticking your neck out.

See this is what I can’t get mate. For us at least, he’s been largely inconsistent and his goals and assists return is decidedly average and not befitting of this superstar we keep getting told about on here.
I don’t think he is a superstar and I’m up for replacing him if we can get better. However, I do think he is consistently 6/7 out of 10.
This is my problem with him ultimately. We have enough of these average scoring players, we need our £45m “creative” outlet to be hitting 8’s and 9’s at least semi-regularly. People talk as if he does do that, but it’s all just hot air. He doesn’t actually affect our play at all.
I have to strongly disagree with that, I think he's the ideal Silva player. Very hard working, experienced and with great technical ability. Reckon Silva is a massive fan personally. The main problem is that hes not a player Silva would buy, hes 100% not a Silva player along with a few others in the squad.
But the biggest problem is that we will not be able to ever sell him, no other team in the league would be stupid enough to buy him.
Thats not to say I personally dont think hes a good player, ive always liked him as a player and he will contribute for us, but if Silva can get the midfielders he really wants to play 4-3-3, his time will be done, but its going to take at least another 2 or 3 transfer windows for us to build a squad Silva wants, in that time who knows if Silva will still be in charge.
Slimani aside, Leicester seem quite savvy in the market.I'm looking at Leicester as a side we could convince to take him off our hands for a decent fee in January.
He's hauled him off in two of the 4 matches, no? Doesn't exactly scream "massive fan"I have to strongly disagree with that, I think he's the ideal Silva player. Very hard working, experienced and with great technical ability. Reckon Silva is a massive fan personally.
