Who cares? Seriously, who gives a darn? He's not a holding mid, I'm not sure why so many are so obessed with him holding the ball or making MORE passes. I don't want him holding the ball, I want him creating opportunities via one touch and scoring goals from outside the box. It's the production out of those touches in areas where we can score goals is what I care about.

And yet the first game he has the majority of people saying he played well is one in which he touched the ball 53 times - compared to his normal 25.

Much better second half, where he stepped up and took responsibility for the ball. Why he doesn't do it consistently is a mystery, as he looks a totally different player when he does.
