Funny how when the team presses with him and then give him the ball in midfield, he goes and plays like that.

Think the pressing made a lot of the players look good today. Should maybe try it more often.

I'm not going to lie. I thought he was ok today, nothing more.

I'll defend him when we are at home with an opposition staying really deep and he's CLEARLY being instructed to hold his position (in the centre of the congestion). There isn't alot of room in there so he's completely dependent on the ball into him.

Today Fulham came at us so he had enormous amounts of space. After his goal he started linking play but in the main, goals apart, I thought the only very good part of his game was his workrate, which isn't the main thing we paid for.

But it's the absolute barmy shouts after he missed his pen that just beggar belief. He plays FOR Everton. He missed a pen. So what? Nearly every player does. And our response in here was criticism and even "get out of the club".

Absolute barm pots.

He's still not got to the heights of vs Soton yet he's now on 3 league goals for the season so is at LEAST giving us end product.

In summary, just bugger off and either support him or develop some sort of credible debate without mentioning his fee.

I’m so glad that Tosun is class again now after scoring, Pickford is amazing again because of a clean sheet, and Davies is back to being a class midfielder. Oh no wait that sort of ridiculous thinking seems to only apply to Siggurdson.

Yeah, but it speaks volumes about his confidence in Royal Blue (at least at that point). Sigurdsson and Tosun really needed those goals today

Call me an extremist but a game is 90 minutes, and I’d consider bagging a brace rather more like doing something than nothing. Wish some of our other players did ‘nothing’ like Gylfi.
