the truth is we all hate seeing our better ball players leave but in todays scenario money and then the teams ability to challenge for something will always come to the fore

it wont bother me at all if either a players ( billy, geuye etc) step up to the challenge on we bring someone in .........if neither happen then i will be pissed and unforntunately i hav an awful feeling that situation like this will be come more frequent as the financial gap widens

I don't think it's that bad.. As RFUS said, this could be a blessing in disguise!! We have a 9mil pound player itching to get on the pitch, and now he can!!

We'll be fine. He's a very good player and we'll miss his talents, but this is football. Players come in, players go out. We offered him a good wage, and he chose to go for more. Fair enough. As Matty said we sold him for more than we paid for him with months to go on his contract, and got several very good years out of him. That's great business for a club like ours. Keep bringing in the youngsters and the "sleeper" prospects (like Peanuts was when we bought him), and all will be well.

As has been said, time for Bily to step up (and for Moyes to give him a run).
