I don't want a repeat of our last expedition to CL territory. If we do make it, which I'd love, I hope RM can convince our tight fisted owners to shell out some cash to make the trip there worthwhile!

It's the sort of exposure they'll need if they want that unrealistic sale price! As they say, you have to speculate to accumulate...

We have 11 Home Matches
We have 11 Away Matches

Possible Pts: 66

As long as we are unbeaten at home and take high number of pts we are in with a shot.
I think we would need at least 27/33pts at home
I think we would need at least 13/33pts on road.

Giving us a pts total of 71

This year everyone is beating everyone so it will be a lower pts total in fourth IMO i think 67 would be enough.

Maybe but it's also gonna be very tight between 4 teams. Basically we need to top a mini league of Liverpool, spurs, utd and ourselves. That's taking it that arsenal, city and Chelsea nail the top 3 posistions which tbh is not a certainty anyway.

Gonna be very tricky, a bit of a lottery, which IMO is gonna be very different from other years. Calculators, average's etc mean squat this season, all we can do is concentrate on ourselves and hope others faulter!

As everyone has said, it's a long way to go, and truly anything can happen, the main focus now is, picking up points, as long as we are, we'll be in good stead. I'm not sure if we're in good form atm, or we've just became very hard to beat. It's never as easy as saying 'Swansea, easy win, 3pts', so taking it one game at a time, should sit us in good stead.

I really don't rate Spurs at all, and they got shown up for the pile of ****e they were last night, credit to the RS, but i look at it like David Moyes becomes resurgent come January as he always does, and despite them being truly woeful in some games, they sit 6 points off us, which i'm sure they're not to displeased about.

Can Newcastle maintain a push? I'd probably opt for no, but they've proven they can be resilient against the big teams, and pick up a result, whereas they've shown that they can be a real Jekyll and Hyde too, ala 3-0 to Swansea.
As i said, if Spurs stick with AVB, I can't see them challenging, because for me, they're not a squad, they're a group of individuals, who simply aren't gelling.

Will Arsenal remain a 'top' team? it's not long ago everyone was hailing them as a great side, and a sure title contender, but 3 successive no wins, followed by a game against Chelsea, it could very well mean that the RS are top at Christmas.

I hate the RS, but with Suaréz in their team, who is simply on top form, they always have a chance, i expect them to drop away too, and probably won't win the league, i'd say it could well be Us, Arsenal, United and RS fighting for 3-4th spots in the league.

But there's so much to consider, we're all praising how we have great options off the bench in Deulofeu and that, but now he's injured, another injury, and Barry on the Yellow card tightline, i'd say we need a good January to consider Champions League, i'd like to think we'll have that, but if we do, i'd expect at least Europa League, but this is our only chance imo, to take advantage of an inconsistent Prem, and make top 4.

those last 3 home games could be a killer or the chance to seal champs league qualification. i'd rather have them at home than away, that's for sure.
