Good luck to him. As others have said, I'll be surprised if he comes back and would guess this is a loan-to-buy option. Shame he's not been loaned to a Championship club at some time to toughen him up and improve his confidence. There's a decent player in there somewhere, maybe not top Premiership level .. but I can't help feeling we could have got more out of him somehow.

He was never going to make the grade - he was a youth player we took on a punt that never worked out.

I hope he does well in his future career but we won't see him in England again methinks.
