Gah...well, if Kev ends up being out for any length of time (hope not!) I hope he gets a chance to impress. It was a short cameo but he made some good runs when he was on. One would've been great if Baines had been a bit quicker with the pass. I saw more in that short stint than I did from Magaye, that's for damn sure.

I believe Gueye should be tried up front instead of the wing. Jelavic was poor also, his touch and passing were way off today.

Against Sunderland last year was his best game. He's got good touches, a decent cross and pass, but he has practically zero pace. I can't name a single quality winger with no pace. Pienaar isn't lightning but he is nimble and can dribble round/make the extra yard for himself. Sadly don't think Geuye will ever cement a first team spot with us.

Oviedo on the other hand...

I thought he was really poor, very slow seems to have no pace at all. His very first chance to put a cross in from the edge of the box and im sure he didn't even look up to see where to hit it just wellied it to no one. Kept getting in the way no movement no guile no pace no good.

vellios should be on loan in jan and a backup experienced striker brought in. gueye doesn't seem good enough for us sadly but i don't think we need to replace him. Pienaar, ovideo and mirallas can play there

I think he lacks confidence and needs some belief in his ability. Almost Bily-esk. I want to see him tried upfront though.
