Beauty of a club owned by it's members, like Trump you can vote a clown out as was done with the disastrous Bartomeu
So much to look forward to with Laporta back, I am owning and loving it
In favour of the ESL?
Go Team.

United have trophies from more than a century ago, I think that was the point - not that their Fergie years were indicative of their entire history
City doesn't have a 'history' by comparison in terms of success/trophies much less support or financial strength. I am talking also about fan support and while Liverpool's success and also gone through peaks & valleys, no one would ever compare the level of support your Merseyside rivals have or have had to that of City. I can walk out my door and run into a child wearing a United or Liverpool kit before I will a City one, for example
Buffett is a money man, aka investor - he builds nothing, he trades shares like a child does their marbles or pokemon cards. You cannot compare corporate business and M&A to football's sporting side much less it's fan support - they are not linked and he certainly is not interested in that side of 'success', only the bottom line & profit sharing. So yeah, he's a money man

I am not. I am not a fan of how organizations like UEFA/FIFA and FAs are lining their own pockets at the expense of the game, the ESL simply shifts those pockets to the clubs - neither is the right solution but change has to happen towards more equitable revenue sharing
Barca, will not be joining either, in the end. Bartomeu signed the deal, Laporta insisted that members have to vote on it which will surely not allow it to pass. Ask a City or United fan? They have to hope their corporate overlords comply or risk being penalized, at Barca the members will vote
Fella, I'd stop there if I was you.
You are embarrassing yourself with comments like that.
Honestly.
Please stop - for your own good!
City won their first trophy in 1899.
They won the FA cup and a European trophy both before Liverpool did.
City won a European trophy 9 years before Barca did (let that one sink in).
Mate, I have no idea how old you are but you really are coming across as fanboy,
keyboard warrior.
You originally said in Manchester. United are clearly more supported globally and nationally but within Manchester i wouldn’t be so sureSomeone is embarrassing themselves, I agree. I have followed with some interest both Manc clubs over last decade, a lot of banter between both about United fans coming from London & City fans from a small road in Manchester. The reality is that United fans not only come from Manchester, but from every corner of the globe. Again, it is not a metric I value but United are far & away more followed by fans than City, that's not changing anytime soon - honestly
Its never been equitable. Its just the income streams have changed and got bigger. But most of that money stays within the confines of players/agents/UEFA/owners etc. Everton are a prime example of how to spend money badly!
Not a clue how the circle will be broken, cos sure as night follows day, if Barca or Real or United found an extra £350m of annual guaranteed income, we know exactly where it will go.

You really think most stays with players?
This is utter rubbish, and its a United/Kopite social media agenda push.
1 Man City have a good history, and have been popular in the past.
2 They have a great fan base, every bit as bug as Everton, Spurs & Aston Villa, even more than Chelsea pre-Abramovic.
While not winning as much as many clubs, they are and always have been a big English club, its pure fabrication of UNited & RS fasn to try and drag down what they win.
Saying City does not have the same history of success or stature as United does not equate to City not having a good history - you drew that faulty conclusion, I only have opined there is no way they overtake United in terms of stature & history - not in our lifetime
Players, agents, Uefa etc, owners.
Including wages, Siggurson has been pretty much £75m cost to Everton. For example.
