YoboCopter
Player Valuation: £50m
Its time for him to pack his bags to his next cake walk.. psg or juve
Wouldn’t surprise me if they try for Brenda, or even Arsenal may try for him.I think the problem Pep is now experiencing is is that teams everywhere have learnt how to counter the high press and that’s why we struggle so much. Watching us pass the ball across the back four in the opponents half whilst looking for that killer pass through is becoming very difficult as the high press has compressed their defence and defenders are comfortable watching us play in front of them. He's not prepared to play the long / diagonal ball over the top like Klopp does and we don't have any height in our forward line even if we did.
I love what Pep has done for the club but if he is the genius he thinks he is then he must recognise he needs to find a new way as do every other team playing like we do. With the players at our disposal we should be doing better. This season is starting to look more and more like the final season under Pellegrini. The players look jaded, uncommitted and bored. Is it time to move on from Pep? I'd say yes it is. All good things come to an end and he has to go at sometime, so why not sooner rather than later? Obviously the question is who would replace him? I'll throw these hats into the ring:
Erik Ten Hag - Ajax
Mikel Arteta - Arsenal
Patrick Vieira - Nice
Mauricio Pochettino - Unemployed
For me, I'd go for Erik Ten Hag he has all of the experience & attributes that fit the clubs strategy & 'philosophy' (whatever that is?). After that for me it would be Pochettino. I would also bin off our Director of Football - Tixi Begiristain as well. His recruitment during the last few windows is more than questionable. Time for a reset. It's how football works. It's cyclical and this cycle is now coming to an end. Thanks for the trophies. Thanks for the dazzling football of the 100 point season. Thanks for memories.
More like lost without the Kompanys and Silvas etc of 3 yrs agoLost without Arteta

The team is over the hill...yeah I know its all relative...but the 100pt team is no more.I think the problem Pep is now experiencing is is that teams everywhere have learnt how to counter the high press and that’s why we struggle so much. I've said it before, but he just seems to have lost his mojo at City now. If they don't win the CL this season I wouldn't be surprised if he left.
city's next 9 game fixture - https://www.flashscore.com/team/manchester-city/Wtn9Stg0/fixtures/
looks winnable. I think that they definitely can beat RS at home and Spu*s away, other games are winnable too so I will not be surprised to see them at upward trajectory.
.. or to get smoked 5-2 at home to Leicester?Did you predict them to beat West Ham and Leeds?
