Think these both beat England. France have plenty in reserve and are comfortably the best side here, whereas while I think England have a better squad than Germany, I think they'll be able to grind a win out due to experience.

I think England batter Portugal though, so got to hope they go through and England game the system to play them in the last 16.

This tournament has already shown the refereeing and VAR utilization in England are well below par. Not that we didn’t know that already.

Not convinced there is a great team in this tournament from what I have seen. Mbappe and Kante are standouts but they have some overrated players

I think the French are - in the starting lineup there isn't an obvious weakness (apart from Benzema maybe), but the rest are all both fantastic and experienced at winning. Everyone else has to a greater or lesser degree worse / less well-balanced sides.

The weakness for me is how they play. Sitting deep and countering is great until the team that is standing around you box the whole time happens to pop two shots into the net out of not much and you've got to chase. This game could have gone the other way with not much changing.

they've had two goals disallowed for late offside calls and should have had a penalty, and that is just this half
