It's really sad that I'm so meh about international football . I remember the excitement during the WC 86 , 90 and the 1996 Euros .
While I watch it , I don't find myself shouting at the T.V and calling the refs all sorts of names .
I'm not the only one either . I remember the hysteria around Italia 90 now international competition is just a chance for Star players to get injured putting clubs under pressure .
I can't be the only one , where did this kind of lack of enthusiasm come from ?

Crap performances, those games were way more exciting. This is as somebody mentioned before, a ‘polished turd’.

Same here mate, havnt really watched alot of the Euros. Football has been on TV solid for the last 18months, think I have had my fill of it tbh.

Only chance of winning would be a huge smash and grab and parking the bus.

A little improvement but hard to see us any beating of the 3 likely teams we could face.

That central midfield area is just so slow and negative, you could see in the first half when they wanted to they could play direct dynamic football but the second half the large majority of first touches were backwards, even when there was no pressure so it was obviously their first thought.

Rice can handle the defensive area and we should play Foden & Grealish drifting, creating space, but I doubt he will.
