The problem with England is that the each of the players are all far too specialized in their own role on the park. As a squad they clearly don't work enough (or at all) on their all round game in training, and it painfully shows in the matches where you will never see an England player try to do something creative or unexpected.

Scotland just wanted it much more than England, no one took any responsibility for England.

For all the hype this team looked very average especially when compared to the likes of Portugal, Italy, France who actually care when playing for their nation

Well they needed the 3 points after losing their opener, draw suited us more, and that's what Gareth set up to do to be safe and not loose.

No one was near him. Fullbacks and sitting midfielders tonking it down the line for him to chase.

No one ran past him. Foden and Sterling hovered inside wide positions, never broke into the box. Mount was either picking the ball up from 2 sitting players that weren't needed, had zero to see in front of him.

I've said before, look at Holland. Set up how Southgate wants England to set up but they have faith in the system. Southgate is too pragmatic to even attempt an attacking team which is that squads strength
