Wont go down well herer but think Curtis Jones is a good pick for England, his style suits international football better than the likes of Maddison or Gallagher i'd say.
Every time i watch him he is always neat, tidy and works hard (apart from the derby this year obviously, he was terrible)

No way would Gareth Safegate play three at the back. He’ll still play two holding midfielders in front of a back 4, even though our front 6 (front 5 under him) are amongst the best in world football.

Why is anyone surprised at some of the absolute dross Southgate has picked, even in the bloated squad. Loves his favourites doesn’t he.

Defence - just wow. Bin any from Dunk, Gomez, Maguire, quansah, shaw - shambles.

Tarks should be in it, Mitchell from palace should have gone, the Luton lb Doughty would have been an option or worth a look in any friendlies, especially with shaw and tripper perma-dead.

Midifield - Gallagher and jones leave out, bang average.

Attack - wouldn’t have took Toney, Grealish or Maddison.

Sancho , gibbs-white or solanke deserved a go after decent or excellent seasons.
