Great result for the KSA but can't celebrate this too much. Shame Argentina didn't lose to a less murderous nation.
Thats an awful way of viewing things. You can feel happy for the Saudi people and their fans without supporting their government. End of the day, this Saudi team are doing it for their people and to make them proud. Not everything has to be about politics.

Remind who's been funding their training camp, wages and league and why? It is impossible to separate sport and politics. Your reaction is, by the way, as valid as anybody else's. It's a complex issue.

In 2010, Spain lost their opening game to Switzerland and went on to win the tournament.

It’s far from over for Argentina, but Saudi we’re excellent there. I feel Argentina took their foot off the gas, almost as if they expected the win, coming out for the second half.

It’s what the World Cup is about. We’ll done Saudi Arabia, you put in one hell of a shift now. Will be interesting to see how Mexico-Poland goes later.

Aye. The pressure is now bigger for the Argies but i don't think there's ever been a final contested between two teams who won their three group games. So, that proves that one of the finalists- sometimes even both- often has a dodgy game (upset loss or draw) at the group stage.

I guess you’d rather have your off day when you’re allowed to have slip ups then when it truly matters in the Knock outs.

Excited for the next game now, feel it’s a HUGE game.
