Horrible, loser talk. A win would’ve put us in an even stronger position where the 3rd game would’ve just been a training session.

I suppose in tournament football they are right but what you say is correct. I don’t get the ‘got to play international football way’. Just play as you would a league game and that would be enough against inferior teams

I can understand him playing the same team from the Iran game confidence wise but there’s no excuse leaving Mount on for the full 90 after the game he had and not bring on Foden.

The line up wasn’t the issue, it was the tactics.

None of the England players play that slow passive style for their clubs so the dire football and negativity is clearly a result of the tactics.

The first 10 minutes set the tone where they aimless passed the ball sideways along the defence with zero intent.

When he says "tournament football" read "aim to do the minimum to progress". No wonder we come unstuck against better teams.
