Will be getting out the 2010 Finland shirt for the first time in ages now!.

They have always produced fantastic players, but for some reason never gelled together with their national team. We had Jari Litmanen, Forsell.... loads of many good ones, but it’s a team with lesser known players going to a major tournament. Pukki I expect to get a few goals.

The ladies team have always done well, so it was about time the men followed on.

That was such an exciting group, Greece though..... nobody has done worse than them in a World Cup until North Korea came along.

Very close group. Belgium and Denmark to qualify as the first two I think. Denmark having home advantage for the final game against Russia could be key. They are a good, solid side.

Today's the day! Last time we were participating in an major tournament it was 1952 Olympics and we were the host nation... The one before that we were still part of the Russian Empire. So C'mon Eagle Owls! "We have the sauna, booze and an axe! O' Finland is so wonderfull!"
