A friend of mine on the forum just asked me via pm to ask the question, won't name him but he often rides a horse and is a bit dense, didn't want to out himself though.

Christ al-bloody mighty, I can read y'know! I get the proposed sequence off events. It's the fact that they don't mean the same thing I have an issue with.

There's literally no link between Fanny Adams and '[Poor language removed] All'.

Technically that would only be correct if you used 'The Republic', as 'Southern' Ireland would literally mean the south part of 'Ireland', which obviously couldn't be more Northerly than the 'Northern'!
