Lukaku... this is going to sound really bad but i'm terrible at remembering squad numbers, generally 1 & 9 being the only ones that stick for obvious reasons.
 
Beardsley must have been every manager's dream,an absolutely brilliant player who gave 100% in every game.

Spot on mate. Superb player and still the best goal that wasn't a goal that would have been the best goal was against Notts Forest at home, 3-0 up but he had a shot from about 45-55 yards out which must have hit the sun it went so high and dropped down and hit the crossbar. Crossley didn't have a clue.

It was the sheer audacity and speed of mind that took me aback and is why it's stood with me for over 25 years as a great memory.

Probably my old romantic mind playing up and it was probably a sliced cross from 8 yards lol
 
Big Duncan Ferguson in my lifetime, he was always their putting tackles in and sometimes getting sent off!! But he's the man for me as getting stuck in nowadays dominates play and gets the goals. Barry Horne and don Hutchinson were good in the 90s too!
