Reni (Stone Roses) and Stephen Perkins (Jane's Addiction) and Dale Crover (Melvins) are probably my favourite "rock" drummers. Ginger Baker, too, although he was an absolutely horrible man.

Sly Dunbar and Style Scott for reggae.

Lionel Hampton for jazz.

George Kollias (Nile) for metal. Swear to god he has about 8 arms.
