He hired a stylist when he took the Chelsea job to turn him from the tracksuit-wearing kind of PE teacher Brighton Manager into a sleek, sophisticated and classy, almost mini Mourinho Chelsea Coach.

The fake tan, the polo neck jumpers, the fresh haircut and facial hair - he was wanting to disassociate himself from his previous self and turn into a suave new man.
