A- from me, signing Lukaku was a massive statement, along with tying down Martinez, Barkley and Stones. Just need another decent forward and I think we have a solid squad, anymore than that will be a bonus. Boss being a blue.

I get the feeling that under Moyes we would have lost a couple of our top players this year, maybe Mirallas and Barkley. I really rated Moyes but there is no question that the best players absolutely love playing for Martinez. Keeping hold of these players has t be considered when rating this transfer window. For me its almost A+ territory

Take a look at the strength of this squad last May and now. If you're over the moon at the developments in that period then good luck to you. I just see a squad hardly improved. It's consolidation - nothing more, nothing less right now.
Martinez and his bosses have 2 weeks to make the improvements they needed to this summer.

I gave it a C, I still give it a C, maybe C- now, because when I voted there was more time to bring others in, which is what I hoped would happen. Atsu isnt enough, no way, we need a striker definitely, probably a creative playmaker which is the hardest type of player to come by really, and I would also like another centre half because that would actually sort out our right side of defence in case something happens to Coleman, as I've seen Jags play there well for an extended period, and Stones could potentially play there as well. Obviously Hibbo should have had his contract terminated not extended, only the powers that be can explain that one, but anyway he cannot possibly start any game at this level. I'll be honest that I am far from convinced that Stones in an extended run in the side would be a good idea at this point and Alcaraz is an even worse one.

Player Valuation: £60m
Look at the numbers in the squad though, Dave. We have at least two players to every position. 5 centre backs (including Duffy), 4 quality centre mids and 4 wingers, notably.
We only need another striker, in my opinion and a back up right back would be nice. Other than that I can't think of any part of the squad that urgently needs strengthening at this point (we can still add more in January), European football or not.
