What grade would you give us for this transfer window

I would be curious to hear what Everton could have done to get a better grade from you C+ and lower people.

Going into the off-season what did you want to see?

Plus the window isn't even over yet

I gave it an A. I think we invested our money very well so far. Besic will turn out as a shrewd purchase at a discount price. Getting Lukaku in is a dream come true. Brendan Galloway is claimed to be a fine defender who could very well become a first team player in a few year's time. We could do with another two squad players, but so far I'm very pleased.

A-

Very good as we've smashed our transfer record and renewed contracts to key players however we still lack quality and depth in a few positions.

If you operate under the assumption that a bunch of players age 25 and under will show absolutely zero development from the year prior, then yes @Tramps_mate, I suppose you're correct. We haven't "theoretically improved."

It's probably worth mentioning that these same players definitely won't benefit from playing entirely together with no major upheavals in the squad for the second straight season. Plus, they'll all be very distracted with the business end of things, having just committed their future to one common goal and one brilliant man.

So let's not grade this window as "successful" until we bring in another 4 players we haven't heard of but can watch via YouTube and feel all fuzzy about.

Assuming that's sarcasm I hope you're right because right now they look to have gone backwards.

Going on previous windows its an A
In relation to what we were told was going to happen its a C.

Bobby is great and I'm a massive fan, last season was fantastic. but maybe he shouldn't have raised our expectations so much by saying that he was planing to bring in 7 to the first team.

Can you imagine the fume if moyes had said he was bringing in 6 players, then starting saying well....

1 Barry
2 Lakaku
3 HIBBERT re-signed
4 .....

Hard to judge at the mo because were clearly still a few short, yet RM is claiming otherwise. Hopefully all mind games and transfer tactics.

What we'v done so far has been great tho...but would kind of put a dampener on things if we didn't finish the job!

On a separate point, what rating would you give the 21st century?

honestly, it's down at E or F. what is great about society atm? granted technology is always improving where you can achieve amazing things thesedays because of it and the internet is great.

what else? every woman out there is plastered in makeup and fake tan, so much so that natural beauty is almost extinct because nobody knows what anyone looks like anymore. guys are all either roided up or spend 24/7 at the gym to build there muscles, so that when they get their rare time in the sunshine they can wear their vest tops showing off their jarg maori or coi fish tattoos (they also wear fake tan these days).

we have terrible TV like geordie shore and the valleys etc. as the most popular shows around, which is basically people that are so dumb that people laugh at them and thus think they're hillarious (case in point is jedward).

70's, 80's and 90's all left their mark with distinct uniuqueness, what the hell has happened since the turn of the century?

on topic: i've already voted, but it's B atm for me, need a top backup striker to push it up to A as i don't believe we'll sell anyone. obviously it's not been a 100% perfect window, but no team achieves perfection, best window since i've been following everton without doubt.
