As for the attitude era, that was a product of its time. ECW had come along with its edgier product aimed at 18-34 year olds, and WCW was stealing top guys and viewers from WWE, they had to do soemthing and that something was the attitude era.
Plsu don't under estimate how much it helped having 2 of the greatest wrestlers ever come along at the same time in Austin and The Rock.
At the moment they're too happy in their comfort zone, and you cannot blame them.

So what did you all think of the 3 hour special? I thought it was predictable, but still good entertainment.
I still don't get the steel cage though, because lets be honest, in a normal match the wrestlers have tons of time to get out of the ring when the other one is rolling around. Cena could quite easily get Big Show on the floor and walk out surely, it won't happen though.
Also, one thing i hated about last night was the logic. Big Show supporting the guy who fired him? Laurinaitis not getting fired for firing a wrestler and bringing him back on a huge contract?

I wouldn't mind if they filled it with more quality old-skool promo's or old-skool segments like Piper's Pit or The Barbershop. That creates and builds characters then, but sadly, the talent for me is really lacking.
