i think WWE are worried about future potential lawsuits and also they have an image to protect and want to be seen as a reputable company that cares about the wellbeing of their employees especially after having to go through the whole steroid debacles and wrestlers dying at 40 or suffering from long term problems because they have been forced to wrestle 365 days of the year on the road etc..

the amount of lawsuits against the WWE over the past few years is incredible.

I guess you're right, but the guy is absolute desperate to wrestle again.

I remember last Wrestlemania in that ladder match when him and Ziggler were butting the hell out of each other at the end of it.... can't have really helped matters.

If those 4 guys do come in, there's scope for some really good feuds, especially if you throw in the likes of Bryan, Owens, Balor, Samoa Joe, Zayn and Neville.

Yep lots of potential for fresh singles, tag team & 8 man matches.....

It's something that's been missing for a while too where a new wrestler or faction can come in from an outside organization...always loved during the attitude era when a wcw guy jumped ship to wwe...

I kinda started to like him when he was with CM Punk.....hated his Festus gimmick, which I found hard to forget even when he was with punk....heard him on the art of wrestling podcast about a year ago, and thought he came across really well, so happy to see him get another chance in wwe (think he'll be part of a tag team within the Bullet club)....

Why?

Just that he has limited appearances and they clearly have big plans for him going into Wrestlemania - booking a house show appearance and risking injury off TV just seems strange to me.
