Think its more funny the fact the rock can do these cameos for massive money and the WWE can't see anything wrong with that.

I think it's necessary and money well spent....the Rock being at Mania means more people buying tickets for the event and the network, and more people watching Raw tonight to see if there's an announcement....bar John Cena, the rest of the current roster has close to zero star power...the roster needs the Rock to bring attention back to the product...

it's almost stupidity that they do this lol I get it if they got a big star to appear for the media mentions but the rock is basically too successful for wrestling but can wander in once a year, get paid for doing so and it's 5 minutes work for him.

hell he came back to wrestle and won the title! Just basically gave him the belt to carry just for being the rock

that's the point. The product is poor if the rock is what they need to draw the crowds in over their current roster.

Tbf, The Rock is one of the most popular WWF/E stars ever, certainly of the last 20 years, so he's gonna draw more than all but the top guys whatever the state of the current product. However I do think they need to make sure they are cultivating current/future talent as well as bringing in guys like The Rock for one offs/special events...

No think that was summerslam 2014....was fantastic
