Zayn's shoulder injury is not a work. He's having (or had) an MRI done today.

The biggest match of his career, his RAW tv singles match on live tv in his hometown vs John Cena isn't going to be the place they do a fake injury angle to get him out of an NXT match.

Apparently he injured it in freak fashion, during his entrance when he was pumping his fists to get the crowd going.

Orton did something similar years ago, punching the mat too vigariously prior to an RKO attempt.

I'm not having it.

Thinking about it, it's probably a work to give him a legitimate reason to lose to Owens.

This is wrestling after all, mate.

He's going to lose to Owens anyway because he's being promoted to the main roster. He legitimately injured himself.

A WWE 'fake injury' would have been played up far more. They'd have pinpointed exactly where he hurt himself, and he'd have probably been stretchered out and they'd have made a far bigger deal about it. They would also have had the 'injury' occur a lot further into the match with Cena than in just the opening moments where the exchanges between the two were innocuous.

If anyone finds a recording of the NXT doc that was on ESPN last night, please post it.

No chance of finding it at the minutes. Supposedly really really good.

Ask and you shall receive....:) @Connor

Apologies for the poor quality - some dude basically taped it off the tv using his camera phone. It's just about watchable.

It's a FANTASTIC ESPN E-60 documentary - the portrayals of Adam Rose and Corey Graves are extremely sympathetic.

Brilliant thanks !

I've read the Adam Rose part's are very emotional. Looking forward to it.

After the success of UK ninja warrior, the producer from ITV is looking to have a UK wrestling show on ITV2 or ITV4 as a trial run to see if the demand is there. Money from the gates and advertising, it has potential to be a hit.
if the rock and stone cold appear on it yeah

if its that fat barsteward from scotland coming out to madonna then no

There's no correlation between a Gladiators/Total Wipe Out knock-off tv show being a success, and it leading to ITV2 or ITV4 suddenly commissioning a wrestling show.

Nice try though.

Ninja Warrior was a hit show in Japan which sold all over the world and is now on our shores and crap compared to the Japanese version.

It's the rehash of a popular show with a tried and tested format that is successful. Apparently it's the same with Pro Wrestling, a staple favourite in the 70's/80's on mainstream telly they see potential. Trial runs on itv 2 or 4, if its successful love to tour Europe and bring it to Saturday night ITV. Surely you as a fan could see that potential as well.
