GOT Wrestle Fest Fan Thread

I think the opposite - I think they have the respect for eachothers abilities to be able to hit eachother stiff for the spectacle.

Yeah. I don't know for sure if their is any bad feelings between the pair or not (and i didn't watch the match) but both guys are good enough that they could work stiff with each other in a safe way.

It was great because they basically kicked eachothers heads in for the duration. Some nasty blows.

And before the smart arses start, yes it's fake, but "working stiff" in pro wrestling is where they deliberately make more contact than usual to create the visual effect of force, with a greater risk of injury.

Better known as Japanese style

Indeed

You can hit someone really hard but in a safe place. It'll hurt momentarily but you're left with no lasting damage

NXT tapings last night in the US - on the show taped for Nov 6, Prince Devitt (Finn Balor) debuts as KENTA's (Hideo Itami) mystery partner to defeat the Ascension:

WWE Network's UK launch has been delayed until November 1st.

Mainly because a stripped down tv version of the Network, as a standalone subscriptioon tv channel launched in Canada and has been a major success.

So they're thinking of launching that as a tv channel on Sky. The delay is because WWE has to negotiate what can and can't be allowed on the Network, since Sky signed a multi year deal to show all the ppvs on Sky Box Office and also to show NXT, Superstars and from January, Main Event on Sky Sports. So there's also sorts of negotiations going on.

Plus if it does launch as a tv channel, it won't have anywhere close to the same on-demand stuff that the U.S. version of the Network has.

For those of you going to the UK tour, Chris Jericho is apparently being advertised for certain shows despite leaving after NOC, so looks like he'll be returning as soon as his Fozzy tour finishes end of this month.

My fave...
