No, I think Ring master is right. Sounds like a mix up from differing reports from fans at the show. Apparently it was hinted at very strongly but not actually gone through with. Sounds as though it will probably happen at Raw next week though.

Steph came out to his intro (Booooo!) doing the Yes! Yes! Yes! Crowd was going nuts til they saw it was her. When she was speaking you literally couldn't hear her in the arena over the chants, but they played it back on the Titantron latter. She started off saying that she could strip him of the title and give it to Kane, or Orton, or HHH (boo, boo, BOOOOO). Or she could give it to Barret (big pop), and then that we're so predictable). The she said that she was not stripping him of the title (Yes!), but was demanding that he came to Raw next week, and do the right thing and surrender his title. She left doing the Yes! Movement to his intro again.
Other notes:
Crowd largely hated Cena. Pre-show and all during there were lots of 'Let's Go Cena/Cena Sucks' chants, with the Sucks much louder, and loud boos everytime he came on the screen, in the arena, or started winning in his match. The crowd loved the Wyatts, Sheild and Adam Rose aswell. Possibly the biggest chants were for Punk and then Bryan. Big pops for Barrett, who didn't have a match, but did appear during the event and then closed the show after the main event. Some fun with him, Steph and HHH, and Adam Rose after the taping was done.
Webby: Did you wear an EFC top? I had this year's yellow kit on, and was sat opposite the main camara, so might be visible on some shots
We were also close to where The Shield entered the arena, and my bro saw/filmed them walking by in the concourse. Unfortunately when they came in we were by the steps on the other side of that section, so could only see heads moving through the crowd

Hah, sadly not.. I was sat high up so no chance of getting caught on camera.
Pretty decent show last night. Only thing that was really lacking was a decent tag team match. Didn't realise that we got a bonus of the WWE SuperStars recording, too.
Rollins vs Bastista... I am believing in the The Shield!
Disappointed that Paige lost but they had to do this to keep Fox as a credible Payback opponent I guess - she did a good job celebrating, too!
